Things That Help Us Most
- "Just leave the mess — that's why we're here." We know you feel self-conscious sometimes. Please don't. We've seen it all, and nothing shocks us. Dirty ovens, messy fridges, bathrooms that haven't been touched in months — that's literally what we're trained for. Don't apologize. Don't pre-clean.
- Tell us about problem areas: If the shower drain is slow, if the stove element doesn't lift out, if there's a cabinet door that sticks — we'd rather know than discover it mid-clean or accidentally break something.
- Pets are fine, just give us a heads up: We love your pets. But if your dog is territorial about strangers, or your cat gets stressed, let us know so we can plan around it. A quick text on cleaning day goes a long way.
- Clear the floors if you can: We covered this in another post, but it bears repeating. Toys, shoes, bags on the floor slow us down significantly. A quick 10-minute family pickup before we arrive means we spend more time actually cleaning and less time navigating obstacles.

- "You must think my house is disgusting." No. Genuinely, no. We see dozens of homes every week. Yours is normal. The mess you're embarrassed about is Tuesday to us — and we're happy to tackle it.
- "If I'm home, I'm in the way." Not at all. Plenty of our clients are home while we clean — working from home, watching kids, doing their thing. We work around you. Just let us know which rooms to start with so we're not vacuuming under your desk during a Zoom call.
- "A clean house stays clean." We wish. In reality, a professionally cleaned home starts accumulating dust and grime immediately. That's not a reflection of your habits — it's just how houses work, especially with the dry, dusty conditions in Grande Prairie. Regular cleaning isn't a failure; it's maintenance.
- "All cleaners do the same thing." There's an enormous range in quality, training, and standards across the industry.
